Well, I won’t be posting on here for a little while because I’m going on a little trip next week with some of my sisters. We are going to California to attend the “Price is Right” I’m totally excited and I hope at LEAST one of us gets called up… I mean (on down) to the stage ; ) I wish my two younger sisters could come too, but you have to be at least 18 to attend. We plan on going to the beach and walking down the Hollywood walk of fame and a few other things like… shopping of course ; ) I’m so excited, I can hardly wait to go. I’ve never been able to do anything like this before with my sisters. So it will be such a treat. I’ll tell you all about it when I get home.

Bunny Love....

This story is about my daughter Lanessa, her favorite little furry friend “bunny” and their love for each other. It started two years ago when bunny was given as a gift to her for Easter. Since that day they have been inseparable for naps and bedtime. It’s so cute to see her play with her bunny she named Gum. The End.

I took these pictures in the morning so that’s why Lanessa has crazy bed hair! Also, I didn’t wash her bunny for these pictures because this is how it looks most of the time, even though it’s been washed numerous times in the past. I wanted to show the “loved” condition ; )

I’ve only had my 50mm 1.8 lens for a day now, but love it already. These pictures where taken in my room, the lighting is usually pretty good in there but I still had to lighten them up a bit in PS. She was just being so sweet with her bunny so I couldn’t help but post a lot of pictures to tell their story. She sure moves fast though!!! ; )
I’m taking an online photography workshop right now from the very talented Sheye Rosemeyer. I’m sooo excited because I’ve always wanted to know how to take picture in full manual mode!! So you’re probably going to be seeing a whole lot more pictures on here ; )

T-Shirt Dresses

I made the girls matching t-shirt dresses while Cammy was visiting. Actually, Cammy made out quite nicely in the t-shirt dress department. She ended up leaving with 4 different dresses. I know, I’m such a nice sister huh? ; ) Seriously though, she was so fun to give things to because she would get so excited and happy! I loved it! I guess my kids are too spoiled. hehee. It was such a treat to have her come visit us. We miss our Cammy so much : ( That first night she was gone Jenaya looked over to where Cammy had been sleeping and said “It's as if I can still see her sleeping there”. Then she walked over to the bed and said “I can even still smell her smell”. Yes, I think we may have a drama queen on our hands ; )

Navajo Lake

Jon, Sanna & their beautiful girls came down to visit while Rich & Cam were still here. So we all went out to Navajo Lake to go swimming and roast some hot dogs. Heber and his boys were able to come too. We had so much fun! I hadn’t been to Navajo Lake in seriously 7 years!! It was a challenge to find a good spot since it was Labor Day weekend. But we found a good beachy area were the kids could play, we just had to hike down to it. I was so shocked and saddened by all the litter left by others. Do people really not care at all anymore?...
It was so great to have so much family here at once. It was the most we’ve had at one time since we’ve moved here. It was fun to see how excited Jon was to show Sanna around where he grew up. I know he’s wanted to bring her here for awhile now. I’m just glad they decided to do it before we moved ; )

Hard Work & Hard Play

Richard has been such a lifesaver by helping us out with some repairs and touchup on the house and yard. I don’t know what we would’ve done without him! He’s such a hard worker. Thanks so much Rich!!



Here he is sanding our front door to be painted. It turned out so nice. He does such a great job at whatever he does.

Oh boy, looks like I need to play blogging catch-up lol!! Josh and I were able to go on a double date with some friends, Jonathan & Audrie Flack to the Bar D. It was sooo much fun! We hadn’t been since I was prego with Jenaya, so...7 years. I really wanted to go this summer so I’m real glad it worked out to be able to go with such FUN friends. Thanks guys : )
