Look Who's Seven!!

Our little Miss Jenaya had her 7th birthday on Thursday. She is very excited to tell people she is now seven!

Here’s a little video clip of her school class singing "Happy Birthday" to her. Of course all the kids LOVE to have cupcakes brought to share on their b-day! Ben & Lanessa thought is was pretty fun to be able to go to Jenaya's “school”.

Jenaya picked a Hello Kitty cake for me to make this year. It actually turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself ; )

Granddad was feeling sick and felt bad he missed the party. But Grandma & Uncle Matt were able to make it.

Jenaya really likes the Leapster we gave her (it’s going to be great for our long trip for Thanksgiving).

Well, I can’t believe it. She’s seven. Where has all the time gone? Wednesday morning while she was eating breakfast, I took a couple of pictures of her and told her “this is the very last day you’re going to be six”. She asked: "Forever? And ever? You mean I’ll never be six again?" Then she got teary-eyed and cried a little....So did I.

We love you our BIG seven year old! You make us so happy to be your parents!!

Cakes

I was telling my sister I would share some pictures of the cakes I have made. So here it goes….here are some of them……
This is the cake I made for Jenaya’s 2nd birthday.

Jenaya’s 3rd birthday cake.

I made this one for Jenaya’s 4th birthday.

Jenaya’s 5th birthday cake.

This one was for Jenaya’s 6th Birthday. The unicorn had white shimmer dust on the body that the camera didn’t pickup, and also the horn looked way better in person with gold shimmer dust.

This was seriously the biggest cake I have ever made. The square bottom cake was 15 X 15 then the giraffe cake was on top of that. This was for Ben & Lanessa’s 1st birthday party.

These where mini personal size cakes or a.k.a “smash cakes”
for Ben and Lanessa’s 1st birthday.

I made this cake for Ben & Lanessa’s 2nd birthday last year.

This is a cake I made years ago for a couple of friends double baby shower.

I really would love to take a cake decorating class sometime and learn some cool techniques like roses and other flowers, but for now it’s been fun learning and playing around on my own!!
