Lost Tooth & Tooth Fairy

Jenaya FINALY lost her first tooth on Christmas Eve eve. She has wanted a loose tooth for quite some time now….getting jealous if one of her friends was fortunate to loose one, and if they were younger, well then…how dare they! She would keep checking to see if any were loose. She would ask us when it was going to happen….we were no help : )
Then it was almost like she had completely forgot the whole idea until one night (about a month before she actually lost it) she came and showed me what she had discovered while she was brushing. She had not one, but two new teeth behind her two front bottom teeth. And they were already grown about half way in!! She was very excited. I was concerned. I couldn’t tell if the two baby teeth were loose or not (I didn’t think they were) but when Josh was able to check the next day he said they wiggled a bit for him. So we wiggled and played with them over a time to try and get them out, they weren’t budgin’. It was hard trying to get a grip on them with the permanent teeth right behind. I made her a dentist appt. to have the dentist look at them. He said “keep working on them, they’ll come out on there own". Sure enough the next day Jenaya was playing with our hippity hop and it bounced back into her face and knocked her tooth right out! She was sooo excited to show me her tooth. I was so glad it finally came out on its own because she wouldn’t let me touch it anymore (I made it sore by trying to pull it…it was so close too darn-it). I took these pictures right before she went to bed and before the tooth fairy took it forever to her magical fairy land. Wherever that is. : )

I was woken up the next day by a squealing little girl that was sooo excited the tooth fairy really had come and left her a whole dollar!! I guess the inflation has gone up with the tooth fairy too, because Josh and I use to get a quarter! : )

My Spunky Girl!

I’m back from my trip….and I will post all about it. Promise : ) But first I wanted to share this picture of Jenaya with you. Right before I left I needed to turn in my week’s assignment. It was on “Capturing Essence” So this is what I did for mine.

My Spunky Girl!

This is my daughter Jenaya, little miss spunky pants herself.
From the day she was born she let the whole world know who
she thought was in charge. She lives life to the fullest and doesn’t
have time for such nonsense such as getting hair done and such. Hence
the picture I captured after doing her hair for church today. It’s pretty
much the only time I get to choose a style. She usually only wants her
hair left down so she can be off catching bugs and climbing trees and such.
She is full of energy and a ball of FIRE. But mostly, she has the biggest
heart and indescribable love for her family and friends. I love you my little
spunkster!

First Day of School

Jenaya started the First Grade this week. Here are some of pictures of her first day on Monday. Ahhhh, our little girl is growing up so fast. She was a bit nervous to start 1st grade this year. It’s actually a lot bigger school than her Kindergarten was. But, by the next day she wanted to walk to the bus stop all by herself. She was so excited to see her Aunt Cammy waiting at the bus stop when she came home. Richard and Cammy got her late Sunday night (my little bro & sis) Rich is here to help get some projects done before we put our house up for sale. It’s been sooo much fun to have them here this week. Cammy has been helping to entertain the twins while Jenaya’s at school and than she and Jenaya play great when she comes home. I’ll have to post some of the cute little t-shirt dresses we’ve been making. I’m secretly never going to let them ever leave. I'm not sure yet how I’m going to manage it, but I’ll find away ; )

Last Day of School

Today was Jenaya’s last day of school. She missed a week while we were on our trip.

Here is a picture of her at the Kindergarten graduation with her teacher Ms. Shacie (It was the day before we left on our trip) She was confused when I told her she still had 3 more days left when we came home.
