Just some fun pictures of the kids enjoying this nice spring weather at Brookside Park. I have to admit I’m one of those people whose mood changes with the weather. I’m so happy it’s been warmer and the kids can go outside and play more. They have been so cooped up this winter. I’ve caught the spring cleaning bug BAD. I’ve been going through all the rooms in our house organizing and getting things ready for another yard sale. I’ve also been selling on eBay like crazy! Feels good to simplify.
I’m finally getting some Easter pics up. This Easter has been the busiest ever for us, just a lot going on. Melanie Josh’s Sister and her little boy Zak where able to come down and visit from Thursday until today. Jenaya has been so sad to see her cousin leave. She’s been very emotional about it today. Some friends in our ward have a huge Easter hunt every year on Saturday for the kids. These guys had so much fun! It was great watching Ben & Lanessa really getting into it this year they were so excited to find eggs!! And absolute overjoyed that they were filled with candy.
I made these to give to the girls I visit teach today. They’re Easter Bunny S’mores in a Jar. I didn’t realize Mason jars were a seasonal item!! Talk about an early Easter hunt! I found some at the little country supply store down on Main Street….. and NO I didn’t already have any, because I don’t bottle and through them out if I do get them….but SHUSH don’t tell my mom she’ll just DIE!! Anyway just wanted to pass on the idea. These could actually be made for any holiday. Just do different marshmallows and candy. If anyone wants the recipe just let me know. I hope you all have a really happy & fun Easter!
Jenaya had her first day EVER of soccer practice yesterday. She loved it!! It was so fun to watch her try to do everything the coach said EXACTLY right! Isn’t she just the cutest little soccer player you ever did see?
