I wanted to put some pictures together of all my kiddos as babies. I don’t have pictures of Jenaya younger than 1 yr digitally but that’s okay. I just love baby pictures. It was hard finding some of the twins because it always makes me cry when I see a bunch of pictures of them in the NICU they where soo tiny. I’m so grateful for all my kids. They are each truly such a blessing in our family. I can’t imagine life without them.

This one was for Jenaya’s 6th Birthday. The unicorn had white shimmer dust on the body that the camera didn’t pickup, and also the horn looked way better in person with gold shimmer dust.

This was seriously the biggest cake I have ever made. The square bottom cake was 15 X 15 then the giraffe cake was on top of that. This was for Ben & Lanessa’s 1st birthday party.

This is a cake I made years ago for a couple of friends double baby shower.
I really would love to take a cake decorating class sometime and learn some cool techniques like roses and other flowers, but for now it’s been fun learning and playing around on my own!!

Twin Trouble!!!
Turn your back for 2 seconds and look what
They can do!
I’m just glad they put the big ones in first
or else some of those would never have been
seen again. Josh is trying to think up some sort
of screen to put in their to catch stuff if need be.
This is something they have loved to do for awhile.
I caught Lanessa dumping a whole box of crayons
down the heater vent yesterday. When I got the vacuum out to
get what I could, I got a whole lot of crayons and some other
junk as well!! What are we going to do with these two?!?!!
This just can’t be very energy efficient!

This is a poem that is going around by email, I really like it so I'm sharing it here.
SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask "How are you?"
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say "Hi"?
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
