That looks like so much FUN! I wish we had grass :) No swimming here as of late....it would just turn into mud. I am feeling much better by the way. Feel free to come see our new place anytime.
Remember all the times we spent building our own pools while we were growing up.....the one on the lawn out of 2x4 boards...digging that huge hole in the orchard and channeling the ditch through it..we even jumped out of the trees into that crawdad infested pool :)
Hey I remember those! Didn't we dig for a week or two and we also got the brooks kids to help us saying they could swim without paying! Why did we fill it up? We only swam in it 2 times that I remember.
I remember working on that HUGE swimming pool. We spent so much time digging it out and making it perfect. We even made a kiddy end with a slopping floor to the deep end. It’s pretty sad that the plastic wouldn’t stay put when it was time to fill it and also the fact that mom & dad said we had to use the ditch water to fill it up. Yeah, those were some good times : )
Shanny, we had to fill it in because it was over some pipes that needed some work on. Actually, Jesse Jones’s dad filled it in with his tractor.

I love that they have tubes in a pool that's that small. It reminds me of when Earl and I took a raft into a hot tub...
That looks like so much fun! I can't believe that fall is around the corner!
