1. My most recent fear is the Brown Recluse spider. A friend sent me an email that showed a picture of a guy’s hand that was bitten. YIKES! I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately with all the spring cleaning. FYI I don’t do so well with gory pictures. Don’t show me!
2. Something horrible happing to a loved one
3. Getting really, really, really, Fat I guess.

Goals:
1. Survive Ben & Nessa’s terrible two’s x 2!!
2. To go back to school someday
3. To get back in shape. Not sure if I’ve ever been in shape, but it sounds good


Random surprising facts:
1. I sleep with my socks on
2. I rinse every load in my washer twice
3. I watch “The Hills” on TV. I’m really not sure why I like it so much, guess I’m living my single life through Lauren Conrad’s.


Current Obsessions/Collections:
1. I collect the porcelain "Grow with me" age dolls from Hallmark for my girls. Blame Josh’s grandma for starting the whole thing, she bought the first 2 for Jenaya.
2. Photography. But that’s not new
3. I have always had a thing for containers. I love things that hold “stuff” from purses & bags too anything that can organize anything! I guess that explains why I love the Container Store so much. I have to say that part of this obsession is almost always changing my “system” I’d be embarrassed to say how many different types of organizing containers I’ve gone through for scrapbooking over the years. Need any ideas? I have several favorites.
Since I’m on the subject, here is a picture of a new purse/bag I just had to get so I had something to carry my keys, pencil & notebook, water bottle & talk’s agenda-outline-thingy to bring to Women’s Conference & hold all my “stuff” for me, you know? Sad, So So Sad!

Okay, I’m so jealous right now because Josh went up to SLC today for a Ben Folds concert without me!! I really wanted to go but it just wouldn’t workout with the kiddos and Jenaya in school. For those of you who are like “Who’s Ben Folds” first of all, shame on you! Second, where have you been?!?!! Here is a Ben Folds music video clip of a song he wrote for his son. It brings tears to my eyes sometimes when I listen to it.


I can’t really complain about not being able to go though (just a little) because I’m going to Women’s Conference at BYU next week with my friend Audrie. It’s going to be soooo much fun! It seriously couldn’t be at a better time for me. I really need some mommy time about now. So I’ll update you on all the fun we have later.

River Walk & Picnic

Josh had to work this weekend so I took the kids to Berg Park yesterday for a picnic.
We had a lot of fun watching & feeding the ducks, one even climbed up the hill to come right over to us, the kids LOVED that. I was having a good ol’ time playing around with my Digital Cannon Rebel camera, poor thing probably feels so neglected since I got a smaller camera (Canon elf) for Christmas and haven’t really used it since then. I love my Rebel there are so many features to work with but it’s not that great to take everywhere because of It’s size. So that’s why I wanted the elf as well. These guys where loving playing on the rocks by the river and getting their feet wet. We stayed in that one spot for like an hour and half. We had a blast! YAY for spring!!!

I just had to add these last two pictures of Ben. The first one looks like he should be saying DUH! And the last one shows how his pants just wouldn't stay up. Nice diaper kid!

Surprise!!

Josh surprised me with these gorgeous flowers when he came home from work. 8 roses for eight years. ROSES are my absolute favorite flowers ever!! He wasn’t suppose to do anything though, I told him not to since we’re going to go on a getaway in a couple of weeks. But I'm glad he did ; )

Poor Nessy, she has been so sick the last few days with her Asthma. We had to bring her into Urgent Care on Saturday. She just can’t stop coughing. All the coughing makes her through-up several times a day and she can’t sleep at night or for naps. She’s been pretty darn miserable. Even her inhaler has hardly been helping. I just feel so bad for her and there just isn’t that much I can do, except hold her and give her extra love & attention. So I just wanted to share some pictures of a happier Nessa when she was more of her usual self.

Jenaya's New Hairdo

Jenaya got a new haircut last week. We got about 5 inches taken off. Her hair was just at that stage where it was getting hard to brush and fix into hair styles.

Just a couple of funnies.

Jenaya said something really funny yesterday morning while I was doing her hair for school. We were in the bathroom and there was this big fly flying around in there she was a little scared of it and said:
What do flies do to us?
Mom: nothing. Just bug us.
Jenaya: They bug us so will watch their tricks?
Mom (laughing): something like that.


Okay, I have to tell you what Lanessa said the other day. I was telling her to be careful so she wouldn’t fall and she says: Be careful? Don’t fall break a cheek? As she points to her cheek. It was just so funny that she said cheek and not like an arm or leg.
